Murray Easton

Murray is an experienced engineer, principally in shipbuilding. He has had a number of senior production and operations roles at Cammell Laird, Yarrow Shipbuilders, Babcock International and BAE Systems.  
 
During this time he worked on quality improvements programmes, and also has experience of working in situations where there is significant government interest in the work being undertaken, both from a strategic and highly regulated (nuclear and health and safety) perspective.
 
Murray has a high level of interest in healthcare, and also carries out consultancy in healthcare environments. For example, he has presented at BMA seminars on leadership and managing complex change programmes.  

He has also undertaken consultancy work at Sheffield Children’s Hospital on how staff effectiveness could be transformed to avoid paediatric consultant burnout.
