Nominations committee has responsibility for ensuring that the Board of Governors has the right mix of skills and experience to carry out its role.
It considers the skills mix represented on the Board, identifies current or future skills gaps and oversees recruitment of new Governors to fill them.
The committee is responsible for induction, training and appraisal of Governors as well as overseeing periodic reviews of the performance of the Board and the monitoring of progress versus any recommendations emerging from these.
The committee comprises at least three Governors.
