Dr Jocelyn Cornwell, BA Hons (Cantab), Msc Phd
Jocelyn Cornwell is an independent health consultant. She has worked at national level in in management, government and health regulation, at the Audit Commission and Commission for Health Improvement, for fifteen years. Her major interests are in patients’ experience of care, the quality of care and patient safety. She directs the Point of Care, a programme supported by the Kings Fund that aims to improve patients’ experience and the humanity of hospital care. In 2007 she was a member of Onora O’Neill’s independent inquiry into the safety of maternity services in England, published in February 2008.
She chairs Connect UK: the communication disability network and is a trustee of the Mental Health Foundation.
