Dr Bill Lucas
Bill currently runs his own learning strategy business, The Bill Lucas Partnership. He is also non-executive director of the Live Group plc, Chairman of the Talent Foundation and a senior visiting fellow at the University of Surrey’s School of Management.
Bill has worked on leadership development with a number of organisations in the health sector, including the Department of Health, NHSU, the NHS Modernisation Agency, Connecting for Health and The Royal Liverpool Children’s Hospital.
Before setting up his own business, Bill was the first CEO of the Campaign for Learning, where he was the creator of Learning at Work Day and Family Learning Weekend. He appears regularly on radio and TV, including The Moral Maze, Newsnight, Night Waves, The Learning Curve, Start the Week and Woman’s Hour.
Bill is a regular contributor to the national and specialist press and is the author and co-author of more than 50 books. His publications have been translated into Spanish, Russian, Bulgarian, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese and Arabic and have sold more than half a million copies.
