Dr Dale Webb
Director of Evaluation and Strategy
Dale joined The Health Foundation in July 2003. His NHS experience was gained first in community-based public health area, where he developed innovative HIV prevention initiatives, and then with the former Wessex Regional Health Authority, where he was part of the regional sexual health team and had responsibility for the region’s AIDS Control Act Report. On moving into academia Dale completed four national evaluation studies for the Department of Health, the Scottish Executive and the Health Development Agency. He completed his PhD in 2005, which was titled Evaluation in a policy environment: Approaches to the evaluation of complex health policy pilots in the UK from 1994 to 2004.
Dale has overall responsibility for evaluation of the Foundation’s programmes, leads a programme of organisational impact assessment and co-ordinates the Foundation’s strategic planning activity.
