Dr Gill Hastings
Assistant Director, Transforming Organisations
With more than 10 years’ experience in the health and medical research sectors, Gill leads the Foundation’s work to support organisational efforts to improve quality and performance in healthcare services. The Safer Patients Initiative, which has recently been extended to include 24 hospitals from across the UK, is currently the major focus of Gill’s work.
Gill is a member of the Welsh Critical Care Improvement Programme steering group and has contributed to both NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement and National Patient Safety Agency discussion panels.
