Natalie leads the Foundation's work to engage patients in their own healthcare.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Natalie worked in NHS senior management, having initially joined through the Graduate Management Training Scheme.

After leading a variety of acute, children’s and mental health services around London, Natalie spent her final three years in the NHS as Director of Commissioning and Modernisation for a London PCT, developing expertise in leading systems improvement work across multiple organisations.

Natalie has also worked in hospital improvement and the development of mental health services in the Northern Cape, South Africa, for the Health Systems Trust, a South African non-governmental organisation. 

Natalie graduated from Oxford University in 1996 with a First Class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. She also holds a Masters in Medical Sociology and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA), both achieved with Distinction. In addition, she has completed Executive Leadership programmes at Kennedy School of Government, Harvard, and at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

Natalie is also a Non-Executive Director of Limmud, a charity providing Jewish education across the UK.
