A safety case is a valuable tool for bringing about a systematic approach to safety and for providing a record of management’s commitment to safety. We commissioned a group of researchers, lead by Warwick University to conduct pragmatic rapid reviews on the use of safety cases in safety-critical industries.
The Health Foundation and the Royal College of General Practioners (RCGP) launched a Commission on Generalism which looked at the contribution of medical generalism and the role of the generalist in today's healthcare system.

In Policy’ was an 18-month (2010-2011) primary research study that aimed to explore policy and decision makers’ views of the origins, definitions, and potential purpose of revalidation. It also addressed how revalidation relates to concerns about assuring and promoting patient safety and quality of care.
