While the majority of The Health Foundation’s work is UK based, we believe that the NHS does not exist in a vacuum and that lessons can be learned through sharing best practice internationally. The current focus of our international work is a major programme aiming to improve the quality of healthcare for mothers and babies in Malawi.

Quality Improvement in Malawi
In March 2006, The Health Foundation launched a £2.7 million, three year programme dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare for babies and mothers in Malawi.
