The Leaders for Change scheme aims to equip health professionals working in service improvement with the skills and knowledge to lead change and achieve lasting improvements in patient care.
Our aim is that the changes participants implement will result in lasting improvements to patient care.
What are we doing?
Working with Lancaster University Management School, the Leaders for Change scheme started in 2003. To date, we have supported 50 individuals to participate in the scheme.
We offer up to 14 places on each round of the Leaders for Change scheme.
About the scheme
The Leaders for Change scheme is a structured learning programme equipping health professionals with the skills and knowledge to lead change projects that improve the quality of local healthcare services.
The modular programme, delivered by Lancaster University Management School, provides the space and structure to reflect and develop understanding of the change process. The scheme is work-based and develops learning based on participants’ own experiences.
