The approaches and interventions tested through the Safer Patients Initiative have influenced safety initiatives across the UK.
We are supporting the four UK initiatives in the following ways:
England
England’s Patient Safety First Campaign was jointly funded by the Health Foundation, the National Patient Safety Agency and the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement.

In Scotland the Foundation has created and funded fellowships attached to the Scottish Patient Safety Programme.
