As little as 10% of a population’s health and wellbeing is linked to access to health care.
We hypothesise that better health in a place is a necessary contributor to the social and economic prosperity of that place, and that improving health requires action on the wider socio-economic determinants of health. We wish to bring together a group of interested stakeholders to form a Community of Interest to help us frame this issue in policy-relevant terms, and to set a research agenda that will build evidence to support public policymaking that builds health capital.
We are seeking an organisation or individual to facilitate this process over a 6-9 month period from April 2018.
- Please read the Invitation to tender document and the background information to the tender before completing your proposal.
- Please email electronic copies of your full proposal plus any accompanying documents to Louise.Marshall@health.org.uk by 12:00 on 31 January 2018.
- Interviews will be held on 15 February 2018 (with a possible alternative date of 21 February 2018; please indicate if you would be unable to attend on 15 February).
- A final decision will be communicated by 17:00 on 22 February 2018.
Further accompanying documents include a draft of the invite for expressions of interest to participate in the community of interest, and draft terms of reference for the community to be agreed with the group.
