John Illingworth joined the Health Foundation in September 2012 as Policy Manager for our patient safety work.
Prior to joining the Health Foundation, John worked predominantly in healthcare regulation and was Policy Adviser at the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
He was an Analyst at the Commission for Health Improvement, before working on national investigations into serious care failings at the Healthcare Commission before going on to work at McKinsey and Company’s UK healthcare practice.
