In 2007 health minister Professor Lord Darzi launched a wide ranging review to shape the NHS over the next decade.
The Health Foundation is developing solutions to shape a future healthcare system that offers safe, effective and responsive care for all. We hope that the outcome of the NHS Next Stage Review will be a healthcare system that:
- Promotes patients as active partners
- Builds system capability
- Develops and focuses leadership on quality
- Measures to improve care
