Kathryn Dreyer joined the Health Foundation in July 2017 as a Principal Data Analyst.

Kathryn is leading on a programme of work that uses linked datasets to examine the impact of a patient’s wider social context on their use of health care services, the quality of care delivered and health outcomes.

Prior to joining the Health Foundation, Kathryn worked as an actuary in actuarial health care consulting in both England and South Africa. The focus of her work over this period was analysis of healthcare quality and healthcare quality strategies. 

Kathryn has an MBusSc in Actuarial Science and an undergraduate degree in actuarial science from the University of Cape Town. Kathryn is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
