Joshua Kraindler Economist

Economics team


Joshua joined the Health Foundation in November 2017 as an Economics Analyst.

Josh works mostly on economic analysis related to NHS funding and performance. This includes leading the analysis on Failing to capitalise and False economy 

Prior to joining the Health Foundation, Josh worked as a research analyst at the Nuffield Trust, working to develop an electronic frailty score for use in hospitals. Previously, he also worked as a housing and homelessness researcher at the Australian Institute of Health & Welfare, Australia’s national data agency for health and welfare statistics. Before working in research, Josh worked as an auditor in financial services for PwC.

Josh has a bachelors in commerce and a bachelors in Economics from the University of New South Wales. He also has a Masters in Economics and a Masters in Health Economics from Lund University. Josh has also completed the Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting in Australia.
