Before joining the Health Foundation, Deborah worked as a public health specialty registrar in local government and in Health Protection, Public Health England.

Deborah studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and University College London and worked as a junior doctor in London and Bath. She has MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Deborah’s work at the Health Foundation focuses on the wider determinants of health and health inequalities.
