Diane Redfern-Tofts Assistant Research Manager

Diane Redfern-Tofts joined the Health Foundation in May 2017 as Assistant Research Manager.

Diane worked in the Research Team at the MS Society from 2013 to 2017, first as a Research Officer and then as Evidence Manager. This involved extensive research commissioning, developing strategies for evidence development, communicating findings for influencing, and conducting in-house research.
 
Prior to this, she was a researcher at the University of Bradford working on a range of mixed-method evaluations, and teaching quantitative and qualitative research methods. 

She has a social science undergraduate degree and a Master’s in psychology.

Publications

Diane leads the day-to-day management of the 2017 Insight research awards. Her blog explains the importance of the programme for advancing the use of national clinical audit and patient registry data to improve the quality of health care.
