Liz joined the Health Foundation in December 2016 as a Research Manager.

At the Health Foundation, Liz works mainly with the Healthy Lives team developing and managing research on health linked to the Foundation’s Healthy Lives Strategy.

Prior to joining the Health Foundation, Liz was Head of Research at the Institute of Public Care where she had a particular interest in older people, housing, people who pay for care, and evaluation.  She has held research posts at the University of Glasgow and Warwick Business School, conducting research on aspects of housing, health and social care.

Liz holds a BA in History, MSc in Social Policy and Social Planning and Post-graduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education. Liz is a qualified executive coach and mentor (ILM), and plays flute in a Cubanista band.
