The Health Foundation’s new report The spread challenge explores the challenge of spreading innovations and improvements in health care across the NHS.
The report looks at why, even if an innovation has been successfully piloted, it can still take time, creativity and hard work to translate it into a new setting and make it work effectively. It also highlights the new insights that those adopting an innovation generate as they implement it in new contexts – and how this can be a vital source of learning for refining and improving the original idea.
In this webinar you will have the chance to hear from a panel of experts who will delve into the findings of the research and explore the challenges often faced by those adopting ideas from elsewhere. The session will also offer participants the chance to hear practical examples of successful spread and offer tips on how to support the more effective uptake of new ideas.
