Claire Hogg Director of Service Improvement and Transformation

About me

Claire is a GenerationQ Fellow and Director of Service Improvement and Transformation at North Middlesex Hospital in North London.

She leads a range of improvement and transformation programmes at the Trust, with the aim of delivering a financially and clinically sustainable hospital. She is responsible for leading the Trust’s cost improvement programme; design and delivery of the urgent and emergency care improvement programme; and engaging frontline staff in improvement through a listening into action programme.

Claire was previously at Barts Health Trust, where she led the development and implementation of a new community health service alliance contract. Also at Barts, she was Strategic Programme Director and Operations Director Women and Children.

She joined North Middlesex Hospital in 2017, where she is currently leading work with commissioners and other providers to identify opportunities to deliver best value services for the local community through the development of the local integrated care system. This involves working with commissioners and providers to develop and deliver services together; improving value and health outcomes for the local population. Claire is confident the GenerationQ fellowship will help her to successfully deliver this ambitious integration programme.

'GenerationQ will give me the opportunity to reflect on how I personally can influence change, build trust and develop new working relationships across our local health care system.

'I would like to be able to apply skills and knowledge of quality improvement in changing services across a local system, by demonstrating how a quality improvement approach can deliver better systems of integrated care.'
