About me
Samantha is an Improvement Facilitator at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.
Her PhD research explored the role of organisational and professional cultures within the governance of medication safety in the hospital, for which she utilises ethnographic methods. Her research interests include patient safety, avoidable harm, governance and the role of professional and organisational communities within health care. Her interests stem from her experience as an intensive care nurse and her role as an inspector at the Care Quality Commission.
