The Health Foundation’s Director of Research and Economics Anita Charlesworth has been awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

The CBE has been awarded for services to economics and health policy. Anita has worked at the Health Foundation since 2014 and has previously worked for the Nuffield Trust, NHS and Treasury, leading the team working with Sir Derek Wanless on his reform of NHS funding in 2002.

Anita is one of a growing number of women to be nominated and honoured in recent years. In order to receive an award a person must be nominated – and anyone can do this by visiting www.gov.uk/honours.
