Implementing a successful primary care domestic violence service
About this video
This project provided a staff training and support programme to bridge the gap between the voluntary sector and primary care, to harness the strengths of each, and to provide an improved domestic violence service. Local champions are essential to promote the service among their professional peers and encourage implementation.
The pilot was carried out in Bristol and Hackney. Here the members of the project team talk about the challenges they faced in implementing the project, the evidence produced by the project and their next steps in rolling out IRIS on a wider scale.
