Primary care domestic violence programme (IRIS)
About this video
This project aimed to tackle the 'mismatch' between the large public health problem presented by domestic violence and the poor response from the NHS in general, and from primary care in particular.
A key aspect was the partnership with voluntary agencies, which have provided most of the expertise for women experiencing domestic violence.
This video looks at how service users have been involved with Kim Sales, herself a service user, talking about working with clinicians on the project as well as interviewing other service users.
