Welcome and introduction
Jennifer Dixon introduces the conference and sets out the theme for the day.
How to support the workforce to make improvements at pace
Matthew Taylor explores supporting the workforce in the NHS to make improvements at pace – adding value and productivity. He draws on the findings of the review he led of modern working practices and how to support good work for all.
Helping health care professionals deliver even better care
We apologise for the sound issues between 34.00 and 35.00 minutes. We are working to fix this.
The session opens with a recorded interview with Claire Lemer, followed by a talk from Cllr Jacqui Dyer MBE. Clare and Jacqui share their experience of the health care system and a personal view of what needs to change, with an emphasis on how we can support health care professionals to improve the quality of care they give to patients. Baroness Harding then shares her reflections on the previous speakers’ contributions and consider how government and providers can best support improvement at the front line.
