Ruth McConkey Programme Manager

Economics team


Ruth McConkey joined the Health Foundation in April 2017 as a Research Officer and is currently a Programme Manager for the Economics team.

Prior to joining the Health Foundation Ruth worked for several organisations in the charity sector. From 2014-2017 she worked for Mind, the mental health charity, coordinating projects looking at emergency services mental health, anti-stigma initiatives in the workplace and small grants for individuals with mental health problems. Prior to that, she worked as a project manager for a small charity working with street children in Morocco. 

Before working in the charity sector Ruth trained as a classical musician but is now studying for a Master’s degree in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
