Paul McDonald Chief Campaigns Officer
Paul McDonald is Chief Campaigns Officer for Health Equals, a coalition of organisations funded by the Health Foundation campaigning to tackle health inequalities.
Paul leads the Health Equals team in shaping a public conversation about health to reduce health inequalities and increase life expectancy in the UK.
His work focuses on shifting the nation’s attitudes toward health and influencing policymakers by developing the Health Equals strategy, collaborating with member organisations and creating compelling campaigns.
Paul joined the Health Foundation in January 2024 after eight years at Samaritans as Executive Director of External Affairs.
