About me
Angela is a Leaders for Change Fellow and Service Transformation Programme Lead at Sirona Care and Health.
She leads and manages service improvement programme within NSCP. As a community provider, this requires partnership working with a variety of organisaitons across health, social and voluntary care sectors. A key element of her role is providing senior leadership and expertise on service redesign and project management to staff at all levels within the organisation to promote continues service and quality improvement. She is also the organisational lead for business continuity and emergency planning.
NSCP is a social enterprise organisaiton; as a result Angela has become increasingly interested in social value and the role health care has within this. She is also interested in patient leaders and how to design services and pathways that are patient led and support patients to manage their own health and well-being.
Angela is a registered nurse who has worked mostly in community settings both in clinical and non-clinical roles. Previous roles include Clinical Nurse Specialist, Clinical Governance Manager and Prison Healthcare Service Improvement Manager.
She is currently a Value Maker for the NHS Future Focus Finance programme which is all around making people count and how finance can support the the delivery of excellence in patient care.
‘The Leaders for Change programme helped me to develop my knowledge and skills in service and quality improvement. Being part of the programme made me more confident in my abilities as a leader for change has enabled me to continue to lead change programmes successfully.’
