About me

Chris is a Health Foundation Leadership Fellow and Operational Manager at Surrey and Borders NHS Foundation Trust.

At the time of his fellowship, Chris Hudson was Operational Manager- Respond (Drug & Alcohol Treatment Service) for Surrey PCT.

Chris graduated with a BA in Nursing in 1995 and a graduate Certificate in Community Health Nursing before going on to gain a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Nursing (Psychiatry).

At the time of his fellowship, Chris had been in his post since May 2005. His main responsibilities included oversight of clinical governance, health and safety, performance management of clinical staff, marketing, communications, partnership & external relations, budgeting, procurement, strategic development, quality assurance, effective response to complaints, service user involvement, matching capacity and demand, and leadership. He also carried some residual clinical responsibilities as member of the nursing team.
