About me
Christine is a Health Foundation Leadership Fellow and Director of Nursing at Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
At the time of her fellowship, she was Assistant Chief Nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust.
Chris qualified as a registered nurse in 1988 and began her career as a Children’s Nurse in 1990. In 1993, Chris graduated with an MSc in Psychology and Health and went on to qualify as a Registered Nurse Teacher at the Institute of Advanced Nurse Education, Royal College of Nursing.
As well as her role as Assistant Chief Nurse, Chris was Associate Lecturer in Nursing at London South Bank University and Tutor-Counsellor for the Leadership for Child Health Nurses module on the BSc (Hons) Child Health Nursing by Distance Learning course at the RCN Institute, University of Manchester.
