About me
Sarah is a GenerationQ Fellow and Clinical Director and Consultant Psychiatrist at Central and North West London Foundation Trust.
Sarah is now a part time consultant psychiatrist in a busy inner city community mental health team. She has chosen to spend much of the remainder of her time being active in various urban and rurally-based projects concerned with achieving carbon-zero, restoring biodiversity loss and understanding their implications for health and wellbeing now and in the future. She graduated from Newcastle upon Tyne Medical School in 1987 and for a time was a clinical research fellow at the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Research Unit where she designed its first evidence-based clinical guidelines programme. She is a post-graduate of Medical Anthropology (Brunel, 2005) and, as a GenerationQ Fellow, in Leadership and Health Care Improvement (Ashridge, 2016). She was previously a Divisional Medical Director in CNWL.
