About me
Kate is a Health Foundation Leadership Fellow and Director of Education and Capability at University College London Partners.
At the time of her fellowship, she was General Manager, Surgery, Anaesthetics and Imaging at the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust.
Kate was a key member of the Trust management team, working closely with the Clinical Directors and the Executive team. As General Manager, she was responsible for a cumulative budget of £46 million and around 755 staff, and was accountable for the operational and financial management of the Directorates.
Kate initially joined the NHS in 1996 as a Ward Clerk, after completing a degree in music. She also holds an MSc in Health and Social Policy.
