About me
Mary is a Health Foundation Leadership Fellow and Macmillan Programme Manager at Barts Health.
At the time of her fellowship, Mary Price was Long-Term Conditions and Access Coordinator at Islington Primary Care Trust, London. Her role was to lead on the PCT priority areas of long-term conditions and access to primary care, including finding new ways of working and developing new services such as community matrons.
Mary began her career in marketing following a degree in English, but moved into nursing, qualifying as a Registered General Nurse in 1985. She has worked in primary care, community and acute services.
Mary is currently working in a post hosted by Barts Health and funded by Macmillan supporting improvements to cancer services within the patch of Inner East London covered by the Barts Health footprint.
