About me
Owen is a Health Foundation Leadership Fellow and Consultant Psychiatrist, NHS (Kensington and Chelsea).
At the time of his fellowship, he was Consultant Psychiatrist at Central North West London Mental Health NHS Trust.
Owen graduated from Birmingham University Medical School in 1992, became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1999 and completed his MSc in Clinical Psychiatric research in 2000. At the time of his fellowship, he had been in his current post, working in the field of Addiction Psychiatry, since October 2003.
Owen was Clinical Lead for two large services in the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea dealing with alcohol and drug addiction. In addition, he was a member of the NICE implementation and medicine management trust committees and held committee posts on two national drug strategy forums.
