About me

Paul is a Quality Improvement Fellow and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Improvement Science and Fellowship Clinical Director at Imperial College, and Consultant in Acute Medicine.

Paul's interests include working with front line teams, clinician engagement, and research methodolgies for quality imporvement.

Prior to his IHI Fellowship, Dr Sullivan was director of the Department of Acute Medicine at Salford Royal Foundation Trust.  

He has been a consultant physician for 12 years and has been actively involved in undergraduate education as examination lead and associate dean at the University of Manchester.

During his training he spent three years carrying out clinical research that led to the award of a doctorate of medicine.
