About me
Sorrel is a Health Foundation Leadership Fellow and Capital Programme Manager at NHS Lothian.
At the time of her fellowship, Sorrel was Assistant Service Manager for General Medicine, Lothian University Hospitals Division.
After completing her MA (Hons) in English Language & Literature at Edinburgh University, Sorrel went on to achieve a postgraduate certificate in Management (Public and Non-Profit) in 2003. She achieved PRINCE2 Project Management with the Office of Government Commerce in May 2004.
In her role, Sorrel supported the management of five clinical services in medicine, ensuring financial, quality and activity targets were met in line with the division’s operational plan and that the standards of service agreed with the Health Board were met.
