Funding available: the Social and Economic Value of Health in a Place

The next phase of the Health Foundations Social and Economic Value of Health research programme is a researcher-led open call with a focus on a place. The programme aims to position people’s health as an asset for the economy and society. 

We have £1.5 million available for research teams that will generate new knowledge on the extent to which the physical and mental health of a population shapes their social and economic outcomes. Applications open on Thursday 13 June 2019.

THIS Institute’s senior fellowship is now open for applications 

The Healthcare Improvement Studies Institute’s multidisciplinary senior fellowship programme is an opportunity for established academics to undertake visionary, field-changing research. The programme is intended to support senior academics to produce high quality evidence that can support improvement in health care. It's open to researchers (including those with clinical backgrounds) from multiple fields and disciplines. The deadline for applications is 18 July 2019.
