Andrew has a background in population health. Before joining the Health Foundation in June 2023, Andrew produced several health papers for Our Scottish Future, a think tank set up by the Rt Hon. Gordon Brown. These included analyses on the current state of the NHS in Scotland, the impact of health inequalities, and cross-border care. Prior to this, he worked in a variety of analytical roles both within the NHS and private sector.
Andrew holds an MSci in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Glasgow and an MPhil in Population Health Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
