Melissa Co Senior Data Analyst

Melissa joined the Health Foundation in March 2023 a Senior Data Analyst in the Improvement Analytics Unit. 

She is interested in the use of real-world data and data linkages to reduce health disparities and improve patient care and patient experience. Her background is in social epidemiology, with a focus on ethnic inequities in healthcare.

Prior to joining The Health Foundation, she worked at IQVIA analysing and managing a hospital pharmacy data linkage. She also previously worked as a data analyst/programmer in quality improvement and patient experience at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Melissa holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics from King’s College London, an MSc in Global Mental Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and an undergraduate degree in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania.
