An evaluation of the Health Foundation's Engaging with Quality Initiative
March 2009
This report is an independent evaluation of our Engaging with Quality Initiative. It explains what is being done through the scheme and reflects on what has been achieved.
The Engaging with Quality Initiative was inspired by the claim that clinicians are attentive to the need to improve quality in healthcare but are often not sufficiently or appropriately engaged in this process. All the projects involve clinical areas where there is thought to be a bridgeable gap between good and actual practice. Each project includes measures to narrow the gap and to measure how successful this has been.
