Alex Lawrence Improvement Fellow

Alex is an Improvement Fellow in the Innovation and Improvement team, focusing on data, AI and technology. She joined the Health Foundation in July 2024.
Alex joined the Health Foundation from techUK, where she was Head of Health & Social Care, working with digital health companies across the UK and leading the trade association’s work on digital, data and AI.
Prior to this, Alex worked in the Health team at Portland Communications, working with clients in the medical technology and pharmaceutical sectors on policy and public affairs campaigns.
Alex has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Cambridge.
