About me

Bruce is a Health Foundation Leadership Fellow and Medical Director and Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at Habitat Health Group.

At the time of his fellowship, Dr Bruce J Moore was Consultant Psychiatrist & Medical Director at 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust, Warrington, Cheshire.

Bruce graduated with a MB ChB in 1993, became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1997 and submitted his MD in 2006. 

Dr Moore became Medical Director in 2005 and had responsibility for a variety of functions relating to clinical effectiveness and medical practice within the Trust. These included appraisal and performance, medicines management, medical education, the Mental Health Act, and audit and research.

Dr Moore remained committed to innovation in the NHS both in terms of clinical practice and service delivery, and established the UK’s first clinical biomagnetic department offering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation as an alternative to Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
