Healthy Lives team
David Finch joined the Health Foundation in May 2018 as Senior Fellow in the Healthy Lives team.
David worked for the Resolution Foundation for four years, most latterly as Chief Analyst, before joining the Health Foundation. He worked on a range of issues including distributional impact of tax and benefit policy, demographics, pensions and pay progression.
David retains a part-time Senior Fellow role working for Resolution Foundation as an expert in Universal Credit, the tax and benefit system and calculates the Living Wage. He is also an expert adviser to the Scottish Social Security committee.
Prior to this, he worked as an Economic Adviser at the Department for Work and Pensions on areas including childcare and state pensions. David studied Economics at the University of Sussex.
